I had a great time at Hotel Venera in Istanbul. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Grand Bazaar. While the triple room was a bit cramped for our luggage, the staff quickly addressed the issue and moved us to a more spacious room. However, I was disappointed by the breakfast options, which lacked variety and flavor, but overall, my experience was enjoyable enough that I would choose to stay here again.

The triple room was small and felt cramped for our luggage, but the staff resolved this by offering us a more spacious room.

The hotel’s location is a top highlight, just a stone's throw from major sightseeing areas and close to public transport options.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast served lacked variety and flavor, which was disappointing, especially compared to the excellent food I had at dinner on the rooftop.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were decent, though the availability of spa services and their pricing were a bit high, and the common areas were well-maintained.

6.4/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Venera Istanbul Old City. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to major attractions and the tram system. While the room was clean and staff were friendly, the breakfast left much to be desired—lacking flavor and variety. Overall, I may return for the convenience, but I hope to see improvements in the breakfast offerings.

Rooms

The rooms were small yet comfortable, typical for a 4-star hotel in the city center. I found it challenging to fit three large suitcases in the triple room I booked.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Bulent and Ayhan Bey, who were always ready to assist. Their service truly enhanced my experience.

Breakfast was a significant letdown; it lacked variety and flavor. While the rooftop dining had a lovely ambiance, the breakfast options were disappointing.
Facilities

The hotel maintained cleanliness throughout the areas I visited, and I valued the daily provision of water bottles in my room. However, I found some facilities like the breakfast area needed attention.

I had a decent stay at Hotel Venera. While the location was excellent for exploring Istanbul’s sights, my room was smaller than expected. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, especially with limited flavor options and no toast. However, the views from the rooftop restaurant were truly a highlight.

The staff were mostly helpful, especially during check-in, but there were moments where communication was a bit of a struggle.

Breakfast was a letdown—limited options and bland flavors. However, the rooftop dining provided beautiful views.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Venera Istanbul Old City. The location was unbeatable for exploring Istanbul, especially being so close to the Grand Bazaar (which I loved!). However, I found the room sizes quite cramped, especially with larger luggage. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, as it had limited flavors and variety, which was disappointing compared to the overall quality of the hotel.

Rooms

I was pleased with the cleanliness and daily upkeep of my room, but I found the space to be quite limited for two adults and their luggage. It was behind what I expected based on the pictures.

The hotel's location was absolutely ideal, making it easy to access tram lines and tourist attractions. It was definitely the highlight of my stay.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast on the rooftop had a gorgeous view, but the food was frequently bland and lacking in variety. I was surprised by this, especially since I had good meals at the on-site restaurant during other times.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities like the rooftop terrace and the spa had potential, but the small pool made it hard to fully enjoy. The spa's hours weren't very convenient for me, either.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Venera, highlighted by its prime location in the Old City, making it easy to explore attractions like the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist whenever I needed help. However, the breakfast options were a bit bland and lacked variety, which was a disappointing aspect of my otherwise pleasant experience.

Breakfast was served on the rooftop with lovely views, but I was disappointed with the lack of flavor and variety in the menu. A toaster would have been a nice addition!
